Which Roblox Premium Tier Is Worth It?
Premium 2200 gives you the best rate per Robux of the three, but that doesn't automatically make it the right pick. It really comes down to how much Robux you actually spend each month.
The Three Premium Tiers
Roblox runs three Premium plans side by side, each paying out a set amount of Robux every month on top of a few shared perks.
| Plan | Price | Robux/mo | Rate per Robux |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium 450 | $4.99 | 450 | 1.108¢ |
| Premium 1000 | $9.99 | 1,000 | 0.999¢ |
| Premium 2200 | $19.99 | 2,200 | 0.909¢ |
What You Get Beyond the Robux
Every Premium tier unlocks trading with other players, a 10% bonus on Robux you buy separately, access to Premium-only items, and a small cut of marketplace sales if you sell things yourself. The Robux allowance is the headline number, but the trading access alone matters a lot to players who deal in limited items.
Working Out the Better Deal
Look at Premium 450 and Premium 2200 side by side. The cheaper plan costs $4.99 for 450 Robux, close to 1.1 cents per Robux. The top plan costs $19.99 for 2,200 Robux, just under 0.91 cents per Robux. That's roughly a 17% better rate if you go with the bigger plan, assuming you'd actually use that much Robux every month.
Here's the catch though. If you only spend 500 to 600 Robux a month, paying for Premium 2200 just to get a better per-Robux rate doesn't make sense, you'd be paying for Robux you never use. Premium 450 ends up cheaper in total even with the worse rate.
Monthly vs One-Time Purchase
Premium also beats a one-time Robux purchase if you're a regular spender, since the 10% purchase bonus stacks with whatever your subscription already pays out. Someone who buys Robux occasionally and doesn't trade is probably better off skipping Premium entirely and just buying Robux as needed. Check the dollars to Robux calculator to compare a one-time purchase instead.
